Dedicated towards creating maximum opportunities for career-oriented education in multifaceted media and entertainment industry, School of Film and Mass Communication was initiated by SHIATS Allahabad in 2004. The school is outfitted with excellent infrastructure and media-skilled manpower along with the training environment, conducive for imparting qualitative theoretical and practical education. It houses four distinctive centers, namely, Centre for Journalism & Mass Communication, Centre for Media Technology, Centre for Communication & Event Management, and Centre for Creative & Performing Art which provide a unique environment for holistic and realistic approach of teaching. Admission Procedure and Eligibility:

Undergraduate:
Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam in any discipline are eligible for BA programmes in Journalism & Video Production / Advertising & Print Journalism. Similarly, those who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent in science subjects are eligible for B Sc in Animation & Visual Effects.

Diploma:
Candidates who have completed 10+2 in any discipline are eligible to apply for the diploma programmes offered here.

Post Graduate Diploma:
Graduates in any discipline can apply for the PG Diploma programme offered here.

Post Graduate:
Candidates who have pursued graduation in any discipline are eligible to apply for the post graduate programmes offered here.
Doctorate:
