Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Govt. Girls Degree College

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Govt. Girls College, located at Aliganj, in Lucknow district of Uttar Pradesh, is a women’s institute, run by the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh. The college was established by the State Govt. of UP on the occasion of International Women’s Year in the year 1997. The foundation stone was laid by the then Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, to cater the higher educational needs of the girl students residing in and around Lucknow. Temporarily affiliated to Lucknow University, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Govt. Girls College is recognized by University Grants Commission. The college is also accredited and assessed with a ‘B’ grade certificate by National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore. The college imparts undergraduate and post graduate courses in several Arts, Science and Commerce subjects. Besides, it is also recognized as a centre for online education - “EDUSAT”.
