Navyug Kanya Mahavidyalaya, located in Lucknow city of Uttar Pradesh state, is a leading post graduate college for women. The college was established in the year 1943 as an intermediate college to offer quality education for students coming from Hindi medium background. In 1963, the college introduced degree programmes in the Faculty of Arts, followed by faculties of Science & Education in 1969. Eventually in 1994, the college started offering post graduate programmes. Presently affiliated to Lucknow University, the college offers undergraduate and post graduate courses like BA (Bachelor of Arts), B Sc (Bachelor of Science), Bachelor of Commerce (B Com), B Ed (Bachelor of Education), MA (Master of Arts) in Hindi & English.

Admission Procedure and Eligibility:

Undergraduate:
Students who have passed Intermediate or its equivalent from a recognized Board in any discipline can apply for BA / B Com programmes offered here. Those who have completed the same in science subjects are eligible to apply for B Sc courses. However, graduates in any stream from a recognized University can apply for B Ed course offered here.

Post Graduate:
Students are required to complete graduation in any discipline to be eligible for the MA programmes offered here.
