Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management and Development Studies (LBSIMDS) is a non-profit institution, set up in 1982 with the aim of rendering quality education to the aspirants. The institute is located in the capital district Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh state and is spread across vast luxuriant land amidst serene and education friendly locale. The college is affiliated to Gautam Buddh Technical University (GBTU), Lucknow, and duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Besides regular academics, LBSIMDS organizes Management Development Programme, Faculty Development Programme, Staff Development Programme, Societal Development Programme, In house MDPs / SDPs and Annual Seminars which makes it different from other institutions. Since its inception, LBSIMDS Lucknow has been delivering quality education to the students and has emerged as an institution of repute in the state.

Admission Procedure and Eligibility:
Post Graduate:MBA: Aspirants must pass Bachelor’s degree programme in any stream with minimum 50% (45% for SC / ST candidates) marks from a recognized University / College to be eligible to apply. In order to secure admission in the institute, one has to clear GBTU-UPSEE / CAT / MAT. MCA: Aspirants must pursue graduation in any stream with minimum 50% (45% for SC / ST candidates) marks from a recognized University / College to be eligible to apply. However, they should have secured 50% (45% for SC / ST candidates) marks in mathematics at 10+2 or bachelor degree level.
