Established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in the year 1984, Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET) is a well-known institute of higher studies in the state. The institute strives to work for equipping students with competitive thinking, knowledge and a winning attitude to avail all opportunities locally as well as worldwide. Spread across vast green land, the college boasts of excellent campus and has modern infrastructure with all essential facilities, conducive for the smooth conduct of education. The institute is fully financed by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and imparts high standard education in the field of computers, management and technology to generate suitable manpower in the respective fields. Admission Procedure and Eligibility:
Undergraduate:B Tech: Candidates who have passed 10+2 or any other equivalent examination in science stream (PCM) from a recognized Board / College are eligible to apply. However, they have to appear in GBTU-UPSEE. Those who have passed any three year diploma programme in engineering with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University / College are eligible to apply into the second year through lateral entry scheme. Post Graduate: MBA / MCA: Aspirants must pass Bachelor’s degree programme in any stream from a recognized University / College to be eligible to apply. In order to get admission in the institute, one also has to clear GBTU-UPSEE. M Tech: Candidates who have passed B Tech degree course in the relevant branch of engineering from a recognized University / College are eligible to apply.
