The School of Arts & Social Sciences was founded under the umbrella of Galgotias University. The school offers a wide spectrum of courses at BA (Bachelor of Arts), MA (Master of Arts) and PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) levels in seven disciplines, namely, English, French, Psychology, Library Science, Sociology, Economics, Fashion Design, and Social Work. Admission Procedure and Eligibility:

Undergraduate:
Students who have passed 10+2 in regular mode only with minimum 60% marks in best of four subjects can apply for undergraduate programmes. Those who have completed the same in compartment mode will not be entertained.

Post Graduate:
Candidates who have completed B Lib with minimum 55% marks are eligible for M L I Sc programmes. Similarly, those who have done with their Bachelor’s / its equivalent in Social Science subjects with minimum 60% marks and 65% marks at 10+2 level are eligible for MA in Applied Psychology / MSW programmes.
Doctorate:
One who has pursued Master’s Degree from a recognized Indian University or its equivalent as per the norms of Academic Council of the University in the relevant stream with minimum 60% marks in aggregate is eligible to apply for the PhD programmes in respective subjects.
